He also spent 5 years at Sanford Bernstein covering Beverage and Tobacco. Prior to Wall Street, Bill was a Project Manager and Strategic Management Consultant at Mars & Co. for 5 years where he consulted Senior Management Teams of consumer product companies. He was a top ranked Beverage Analyst by Institutional Investor for 11 years and held the #1 position from 2003-2008. Bill has also been top ranked in other surveys such as Greenwich Associates, Wall Street Journal, Forbes and Reuters.

Soren Larson is Chief Data Scientist at Consumer Edge. Soren has worked previously in AI-driven messaging, social media analytics, ad-tech and financial economics. He holds a patent in chatbot messaging frameworks. Soren has degrees from Swarthmore and Harvard; and spent time studying probability theory at Columbia.

Dave joined CER in 2016 as Managing Partner, Director of Research, and Lead Retail Analyst. Dave has over 20 years of experience in Equity Research covering the retail sector and began his career as an Equity Research Associate at Lehman Brothers. Dave served as Consumer Group Head and Lead Retail Analyst at Stifel Financial / Legg Mason Capital Markets. Dave earned a BA in History from the University of Michigan in beautiful Ann Arbor, MI.

Brett has been with CER since its founding in 2009. He leads our coverage of Beverages and Alcoholic Beverages. Prior to joining CER, Brett was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley, spending 7 years covering the Beverage sector. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he was at Sanford Bernstein helping to cover the beverage and tobacco sectors. Brett earned his BA from Bucknell University in Economics and Finance and is a CFA charterholder.

Jonathan Feeney

Analyst - Food & HPC, Managing Partner

Jon joined CER in 2016 covering the Food & HPC sectors. With 18 years of total sell-side experience, the most recent 13 as a senior food & beverage analyst, Jonathan has actively covered more than 50 companies as Head of Consumer Research for Janney Capital Markets, Credit Suisse, Wells Fargo, and most recently as Head of Athlos Research. He’s been twice named to Wall Street Journal’s Best on the Street Report, cited for outstanding stock picking by StarMine, and frequently ranked among the highest few boutique analysts in food in the Greenwich Associates and Institutional Investor surveys. Jonathan started his career at Lehman Brothers and graduated with an A.B. in Government from Harvard University, where he was Captain of the Rowing Team. He currently serves as Co-Chair of the Consumer Analyst Group of New York and is a CFA Charterholder.

Kurt Meyerhoff

Kurt brings over nine years of buyside experience with over a decade of direct global consumer sector expertise. Prior to joining Consumer Edge Research, he was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager with Deephaven Capital Management. Earlier in his career, Kurt was a Portfolio Manager at Citadel Investment Group and LevelGlobal Investors and served as an analyst with Morgan Stanley Investment Management – in each role focusing primarily on investment selection within the Global Consumer space. Mr. Meyerhoff graduated from Bradley University with a BS in Business Marketing and has a concentration in International Business and Economics from IT-Universitetet i Kobenhavn in Denmark.

Stacie Rabinowitz

CE Insight, Director of Primary Research

Stacie is CE Insight Director of Primary Research. Prior to joining Consumer Edge, she spent several years in management consulting at the Boston Consulting Group and Wilson Perumal & Company, focusing extensively on the retail sector and consumer insight. She also spent two years as a Research Associate for Professor Michael E. Porter at the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness at Harvard Business School, analyzing a broad array of companies, industries, and regional, state, and national economies. She has extensive industry experience as well, having held positions both in the Toys”R”Us Strategy and Consumer Insight group and Starwood Hotels Luxury Group. Stacie earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, and received her BS summa cum laude in Economics and Computer Science from Duke University.
